Booster Club Agenda
Football Banquet
Congratulations to our players and coaches on another great season. In celebration of our season, we will be holding the annual Football Banquet on December 1st, 2008, at Sacred Heart Parrish Hall. We will be starting the festivities at 6:00 P.M.
We would like to encourage you all to come and show your support to the boys who have worked so hard. There will be no charge for your attendance. We are fortunate to have a donation of the brisket and beans. We are asking that the families help with the rest of the food. We would like the following classes to bring as follows:
Freshmen: Dessert
Sophomores: Salads
Juniors: Rolls
We would also greatly appreciate any help setting up the hall at 3:30 P.M., and cleanup immediately after the banquet. The banquet usually lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours. For those of you who have small children, you might want to take that into consideration. It can be a long night for the little ones.
We will also be selling a PV Varsity Football Highlight video at the banquet for 20.00 dollars each. This is a great way to look back at our memorable 2008 season.
We look forward to celebrating this evening with you and your players. This is a special night for all the players. We hope to see you there!

Booster Club Nominees:
At the last Booster meeting we handed in our nominations for the Booster Club positions. We will be voting on the nominees at the banquet. The nominees are as follows:

Treasuser: Lori Thurstonson
Secretary: Patrcia Paustian
Marketing: Roxanne McCasland
Booster Club is a great way to keep in touch with the events and the people involved in your players lives.
The PVHS Boosters Club would like to thank everyone who has been able to attend the playoff games.
We made it to the playoffs and our first game was played at Milne Stadium in Albuquerque against Del Norte High School. It was an exciting, nail-biting game. PV was able to advance to the 2nd round of playoffs by winning the Del Norte game 28-27. PV also won the Spirit Stick on KRQE with the winning votes 92% to Del Norte’s 8%. Thanks for the votes!
Our second playoff game was played in Roswell. We came out really strong but luck was not on our side that evening. Our boys played their hearts out and the fans that attended were great. Unfortunately we were unable to advance to the next round.
Traditionally our Senior players were carried off the field one by one by the coaches in appreciation for their dedication to the PV Football Program. It was an emotional night for the boys knowing that this was their final night with their coaches and team.
We want to congratulate our seniors on a successful high school career with your team! We will miss you all! Good luck in all you do!
